We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with great views and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. What really stood out, though, was the amazing hospitality from our host, Maria. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We had a small issue with the refrigerator not working properly, and as soon as we let Maria know, she handled it right away and even arranged for a brand new fridge without delay. Her responsiveness and care made a big difference in our experience. Thank you, Maria, for being such a fantastic host—we’d definitely stay here again!

John and Maria are amazing hosts; extremely friendly and very good communicators. The castle rental is absolutely beautiful and full of wonderful amenities such as a sauna, hot tub, fire pit, hammocks, game room, speakeasy, pizza oven, and grill. The place is very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 9 without making anyone feel cramped. The privacy of the location made for a relaxing experience, and the large outdoor spaces and mountain views were absolutely incredible. The layout of the 2nd floor is a bit interesting, with no dedicated central hallway to access the bedrooms, but otherwise our group had zero complaints and would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful and unique experience in the mountains of western North Carolina. We hope to stay here again in the future.

The castle was amazing. Such a great place for a group, so many different activities. Maria and John were very great hosts and would totally stay here again or at another one of their properties.
